Costume National Briefcase Bag I love these bags, i wish i could have them both. I got to give credit to the designers they are outstanding. The tote is just amazing and i absolutely love the front pockets. The handle is beautifully executed as well as the stitching at the bottom of the bag.

Maison Martin Margiela fingerless gloves

Maison Martin Margiela has been one of my favorite brands for a while now and thay always keep impressing me. Just when you thought there was no other way to creatively recreate a clothing piece, they show up and surprise you. The grey fingerless gloves retails for $130 while the black fingerless gloves retails for $99.

D&G Tote

This is one awesome piece from D&G although it has trappings of Ralph Lauren elegance it is still by all means your typical D&G design. Notice the way the shoulder strap is perfectly hidden in the middle compartment of the bag bordering the two other sides. The position of the pocket on the middle barrier is perfect! i would not have wanted it any other way. The design has this jersey kinda feel and of course blue is one of the most favorite colors in the world.

Brass knuckle jacket $150What i like about this jacket is situated center front. The slanting pockets both at the chest and waist areas are beautifully executed. Also notice that the cuffs are fused with ribbed cotton.

Erotica is Using a Feather...

Be that as it may, feathers are serving up a sexy mysteriousness on the runways for Spring 2009 shows and invading the red carpets around the globe. I must admit when I first saw budding solo star, Solange Knowles, donning the bold accessories, I was….hesitant. I “got it” but didn’t know how the rest of the world would feel.

Well the look has caught on and there’s no stopping it. My only suggestion is pair it with something very, very simple. With makeup try either a smokey eye or darker lip. Not both….subtle dramatics will do just fine here….Afterall, you have feathers on your head!

The “exotic” part of your look is taken care of..you just have to bring the class and [subtle] sex appeal. Think the late 1950s when the bob was all the rave! GET INTO THAT!

Tights are IT!!!!!!!!

Tights adapt to its wearers body so there no problem wearing one. It looks good on all shapes and sizes. It's sexy and provocative without being slutty. They are more variations of tights than cofee from starbucks and they are du jour, better not be left behind.

Asos Large Leopard Print Tights are all the rave, they are made by a lot of other labels but Asos stocks a lot of variations at reasonable prices. Gone are the days of baring ur skin haha now you got to cover up :o) see and you get to save money for waxing or time spent shaving in your bathtub(haha).

My Guilty Pleasures/Indulgences 4Now:

This is the time of year when everyone is supposed to be in the holiday spirit. Or at least preparing to get into it....with this economy many people may just be a little hesitant....but America-- as a whole-- always pulls through and makes the best of things.

In light of that, people are always thinking about what to get others. Well...be pretentious and think about all the things you are currently just fascinated with! So when you're asked what you want as a gift, you just spit out a colorful list....out of convenience since you WERE asked, of course! :-)

1. Rosary Beads- Considering I have been on a mean simple streak as far as dressing is concerned, I've relied on accessories to make subtle statements. And I've become fascinated with Rosaries. They are so bold and elegant. Watch out for the bottom part getting stuck in places and ripping off..........trust me, it happens!


2. Scarves- 'Nuff said. Layer, Layer, Layer!




3. V-Neck Sweaters- are classic and they feel really nice on the skin for those cool days that don't require any extra shirts or other layering. One of my favorite add-ons is a rosary!....go figure!


4. Cardigans- I love cardigans. And with most clothing I love, you can dress a cardigan up or down and still get the same "put together" look. Pairing with an oxford and a Tie is optional as shown.....most people think of this look first....therefore, a last resort for me! On a cooler day I've even paired a cardigan with a graphic t-shirt over it.....get into that...


5. Body Oils- They're sensual, soothing and most of all long lasting. My trick to smelling great all day and not A. Carry around a bottle of my favorite fragrance or B. Take a bath in a fragrance is: after you shower you rub oils on the spots of your body that pass the most blood as you're active (warmer areas to emit the scent) and then you sparingly pair this with a similar cologne. The cologne serves for an initial encounter, while the oils linger and subtly seduce. Ugh...there ya have it.....a "secret" of mine learned from my Mother.


6. Chuck Taylor All Stars- These are classics. Do I need to even harp about these. Get a few pairs.....maybe more! I prefer the high tops. They're more versatile in my opinion!

Obama Dress Frenzy: What Will HE Wear?!

While everyone is caught up in the madness of what First Lady- Elect Michelle Obama will wear to the Inaugural Ball, Obama has been playing it cool. Do you really expect anything less/more? He is one of the smoothest brothers to date. I'm tryna be just like him!......minus the political spotlight, haha!

But when it comes to his Inaugural attire, Barack Obama does not have the tedious chore at hand of reviewing sketch after sketch like his better half, Michelle. He will most likely go with his long time campaigner "dresser," Hart Schaffner Marx.

Either way...we know the brother will be sharrrrpp...with a few beautiful eye candies on his arm!

Nail that contract with the perfect cocktail dress

Isn't it sickening sometimes when its hard to close a business deal or both parties reach an impasse? its one of the most frustrating circumstances. But powerful women in business-yes you- who know their strenghts as well as weaknesses know that one great way to close a deal is by hosting a cocktail or going out to dinner with the prospective client. All of your trips to the gym and yoga classes even the tedious pilates excercise routine finally payoff when its time to throw on that designer cocktail dress. Ladies you've worked very hard and you legally earned all the money you got so spare no expense in making your client know that you're a professional and can be trusted with money. Believe it or not how you dress is a great medium in which people use to judge you. One good dress is this metallic lace dress by Marc Jacobs it costs $225. I love the round neck with accordion pleated trim. You better not wear a dress with a neck that's too low you'll come off as a ### your aim is to look sexy but still within reason. Besides its a business date not a romantic one. Another great feature of this dress is its empire waist, means that it can be of service even when you are pregnant.
The silk lame dress pictured first from left is also by Marc Jacobs , retails for $1,600 while the tulip dress also by Marc retails for $995. Any of these dresses are good to go and would get the job done.

After dealing with your dress you need to invest in a good trench, one that's royal and elegant. The first one is the taffeta ruffled trench by D&G would fork just a little in excess of $2,700 :) while the red Fendi cotton twill trench retails for $1,850. Any of these trenches will make your client want to take a long walk with you outside so people can see how elegant his companion for the night is.

After you done with you whole outfit you need a good clutch purse to hold your blackberry and keys do not leave them in your trench coat on no occasion.
